About Us

Marches Stoves Ltd is a small company just outside Tenbury Wells in Worcestershire.

 

This showroom has been selling stoves on the original site and in the original building as a small family run business for over 40 years. We are one of the oldest and longest continually running stove showrooms in the UK.

 

Where Worcestershire meets Herefordshire and Shropshire on the Welsh Marches.

 

Marches Stoves was founded by Jamie and Ben, we have been friends since we met at school.

 

We have worked together on and off for over 30 years and have 25 years of experience in multifuel and wood burners, gas and electric fires and stoves and home heating between us, a lot of that time working from this showroom.

 

Marches Stoves has followed on (almost) seamlessly from Taltrees Stoves which was on the site since the 70's and had a very strong reputation in the local area. 

 

We were both managers at Taltrees and have seen the market change a lot over the last decade, partly because of the internet. We have decided to embrace these changes and sell stoves through the showroom and through our website. 

 

We think that it is important to offer the same 'small shop' friendly experience to all of our customers, both locally and nationally. We will go out of our way to help all of our customers with any problems that they might experience.

 

We can provide a list of local fitters with a proven track record of quality installations so that you know that you can trust the team installing your heating appliance. 

By recommending good local fitters we can offer our customers peace of mind without having to pay extra to cover the overheads that are incumbent on a larger outfit with their own teams. 

Both Jamie and Ben have many years of experience as surveyors in the industry so we can offer a wealth of information and advice on almost all challenges that may crop up.

 

We do what we do to save you money, reduce stress and to introduce warmth and beauty into your home, while striving for the most efficient and clean burning options.
